Receiving a haematology diagnosis or an abnormal blood test result can be frightening and confusing. So too can experiencing symptoms you don't yet have an explanation for.

My approach to every patient is to ensure they feel truly informed, supported and involved in decisions about their care.

I am a Consultant Haematologist and Myeloid Lead at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with expertise in disorders of the blood — from anaemia and clotting conditions to leukaemia and myeloid malignancies. My career has been shaped by both clinical practice and academic research. I undertook doctoral research in leukaemia metabolism at Imperial College London, and trained across Imperial College London and the University of Oxford as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow.

Clarity, reassurance
and confidence

Blood disorders are complex, and patients deserve someone who can explain them in a way that makes sense — not just what the result says, but what it means for them, what happens next, and why. I take that responsibility seriously. You will leave every consultation with a clear understanding of your situation and what we are going to do about it.
